Saya pengen cerita nih. Kamis kemarin (5 Mei 2019) saya dapet kesempatan buat belajar ngeblog lagi, Mak. Sehari sebelum puasa di bulan Ramadan, di sela-sela padatnya persiapan ujian di kampus, ngerasa beruntung ketemu blogger-blogger kece yang selama ini cuma baca tulisannya aja. Nah, asyiknya kita juga bisa kopdaran sama blogger dari Surabaya, Sidoarjo dan pastinya Malang dongg.
Acara gathering Indonesian Social Blogpreneur (ISB) bersama Indosat Ooredoo ini saya manfaatin banget buat ngasih nutrisi otak biar ketularan pinter kayak mereka. Maklum buat Emak-emak kayak saya, otak emang harus sering-sering di-charge biar nggak gampang pikun. Jangan sampailah jilbab dipake eh, dicariin kemana-mana, he..he.. (petuah dosen: kudu sregep sinau masio udah lulus)
Nyampe di sana udah langsung disanggongin ama 4 blogger yang udah siap berbagi ilmu. Ada Emak Ani Berta. Emak Liswanti, Mbakyu Damavara dan Mbakyu Riri Restiani. Nah, aku ceritain aja apa aja oleh-oleh dari sana biar Emak yang nggak bisa ikutan kemarin bisa belajar lewat blog ini juga. Saya tulis satu-satu ya.
Materi pertama berisi sharingnya Mbakyu Riri Restiani tentang pengalamannya berjibaku dengan aktifitas kuliah, ngurusin bakul olshop plus aktifitas ngeblog di waktu yang sama. Dan asyiknya semua bisa dikerjain bareng dalam waktu yang bersamaan. Saya nggak bisa bayangin deh, dapet tugas kuliah lagi kayak ini aja saya udah merasa paling sibuk di dunia. Pulang ke rumah buka laptop mau nulis eh, si bungsu spontan mengeluarkan jurus tatapan mata ala, “Hayo! Pilih aku ato laptop!” dan saya menyerah, Sodara! Seperti tentara kalah perang melawan sekutu. Tak berdaya. Demikian derita Emak-emak yang pengen consist ngeblog tapi gagal, Sodara.
Tapi intinya adalah menekuni pekerjaan sesuai passion kita itu penting. Kita nggak tahu kan berawal dari hobby bisa jadi salah satu jalan menjemput rezeki. Yeah, dengan bahasa yang lain, kalo bisa sih hobby nggak cuma menyenangkan tapi juga menghasilkan. Bahkan Mbakyu Riri ini udah bisa beli rumah, laptop dan membiayai kuliahnya dari aktifitasnya selama ini.
Tipsnya standar sih, tapi susah ngelakuinnya. Hehe.. Pastikan kita punya motivasi tinggi, inovatif dan nggak takut mencoba hal-hal baru. Apapun yang kita kerjakan jika kita menyukainya ya nggak akan membuat kita bosan dan merasa nyaman. Cara nemuin passion kita mudah sih. Cari dan bayangkan aktifitas apa yang ingin Emak lakukan sampai tua nanti. Yang pasti yang bisa bikin Emak happy dan nggak pengin ninggalin pekerjaan itu sampai kapanpun, itulah passion.
Banyak orang melakukan pekerjaan karena terpaksa bukan karena keinginannya sendiri. Akibatnya ya pasti nggak nyaman dan jadinya nggak menikmati proses gitu. Mungkin seseorang akan tetap bisa sukses dengan cara seperti itu, namun seneng kan kalo kita sukses sekaligus senang. He..he.. hidup itu pilihan. Jika bisa sukses dengan cara yang menyenangkan kenapa harus pilih yang paksaan. So, temukan passionmu.
Nah, kalo kebetulan Emak suka bakulan olshop kayak Mbakyu Riri yang punya usaha aksesoris dan pernak-pernik dari flannel ini , jangan lupa untuk bikin rencana pemasaran. Tentukan target market dan gimana caranya biar mereka tertarik dengan bakulan kita. Jangan lupa promosi secara berkala. Nggak boleh angin-anginan. masak jualan tergantung mood? He..he.. Masak ada jualan tergantung mood? Ada. Banyaaaak.. (ngumpet sambil tunjuk idung) Intinya apapun yang kita tekuni ya harus istiqomah, kontinyu, berkelanjutan. Enggak musiman kayak penjual duren. Eh.
Zaman sekarang pasar udah pindah ke medsos, Mak. Mau cari apa aja ada di situ. Mau jual apa aja juga udah ada. So, kalo Emak suka bakulan sudah harus mikir promosi yang efektif nih. Salah satu cara biar medsos kita enak dilihat itu tampilannya harus keren. Nah, untuk mambantu penampilan medsos biar lebih keren, kita bisa pakai aplikasi CANVA. Apa sih canva itu? Googling aja Mak. Banyak kok tutorialnya. Coba kalo Emak kemarin ikutan datang ke acara ini pasti kita udah praktek bareng en nggak tanya-tanya lagi.
Kebetulan pas workshop sesi kedua kemarin kita langsung praktek desain bersama Mbakyu Damavara. Kita diajari bagaimana cara mengatur kecerahan gambar, memadukan warna dan memilih teks yang ramah di mata. Lho? Emang ada tah tulisan yang nggak ramah di mata? Ada. Tulisan indah tapi sukar di baca.
Oh iya, siapa yang suka pantengin instagram? Mbakyu Dama ngenalin kita sama aplikasi UNUM yang bisa bikin Instagram feed kita terlihat lebih asyik. Kita juga bisa lho mengatur penayangan medsos kita biar lebih tertata jadwalnya. Emang kalo belajar langsung lebih enak ya bisa langsung tanya-tanya. Kalo lewat daring kadang susah nangkep.
Sesi ketiga, ketemu ama Emak Ani Berta, seseemak setrong yang rela meninggalkan pekerjaan akuntannya biar bisa serius jadi fulltime blogger. Emak satu ini dengan senang hati nyebutin kalo profesinya itu freelancer. Dengan menjadi freelancer, Emak Ani Berta bisa mandiri secara finansial. Nah, walaupun udah nggak kerja kantoran lagi, Emak satu ini tetap bekerja selama 8 jam sehari lho. Keputusannya untuk mantap di dunia freelancer bukan tanpa pertimbangan. Bahkan semuanya telah dipersiapkan dengan matang. So, resign to reshine bukan hanya mimpi.
Tapi sebenarnya, apa sih freelancer itu? Freelancer artinya kita bekerja untuk diri sendiri dalam artian tidak berkomitmen pada majikan dalam jangka panjang tertentu. Nah karena kita jadi bos dari pekerjaan kita sendiri, self management jadi penting nih. Tapi enaknya kita jadi nggak terikat dengan perusahaan atau lembaga tertentu. Kita bebas mengatur waktu dan memilih dengan siapa kita bekerja.
Nah, jadi freelancer itu kudu fleksible dan yang penting gak boleh baperan. Tahu kan klien itu macam-macam karakternya. Jangan sampe dapet klien nyebelin eh, kita langsung mogok sambil nangis. Personality yang baik akan membuat klien suka pekerjaan kita dan akhirnya akan ingat nama kita setiap kali mereka membutuhkan jasa. Satu hal lagi sebagai seorang freelancer, kita boleh kok nolak pekerjaan jika itu bertentangan dengan hati nurani kita. Saya jadi inget, pernah menolak nulis tentang KPR hanya karena tidak mau membujuk orang untuk berhutang apalagi yang ada riba. Lha ntar kalo ada yang beli KPR gegara baca tulisan saya, ikut dosa jariyah jadinya.
Jangan lupa untuk meng-upgrade ilmu biar selalu up to date dengan perkembangan informasi terbaru. Tahu lah kalo di dunia maya informasi terus berkembang. Blogger mah gak boleh kudet. So, jika kamu sudah mantap pengen jadi freelancer, persiapkan diri mulai sekarang. Nggak boleh ngasal biar nggak menyesal.
Nah, sesi terakhir ditutup sama Emak Liswanti dengan kiat-kiat khusus bagaimana mengatur penghasilan dari seorang freelancer. Banyak freelancer yang berpenghasilan tinggi tapi karena nggak bisa ngatur keuangan, buyar dah. Gak tahu uangnya mengalir kemana tiba-tiba aja habis gitu. Yee kann.. yee kan.. yang pasti ini bukan saya. Penghasilan saya mah masih retjeh, Sodara!
Nah, Emak kece ini menyarankan pada kita untuk memisahkan rekening tabungan. Setidaknya kita harus memiliki tiga tabungan khusus, yaitu penghasilan dari ngeblog, tabungan pribadi, dan investasi. (Rekening saya lebih dari tiga, tapi ya itu, isinya cuma digit minimum penunggu saldo biar nggak angus). Ketika ditanya investasi apa yang menguntungkan, banyak yang njawab emas baik dalam bentuk perhiasan maupun batangan. Namun disarankan tidak membeli emas perhiasan untuk investasi. Kalo saya (dalem ati) jawab, ya property! Hehe.. baik rumah di dunia nyata maupun rumah dunia maya sama-sama menguntungkan kalo kita udah tahu caranya.
Sekarang ini zaman semakin mudah. Jika kita kesulitan mengatur keuangan secara manual, kita bisa kok pakai aplikasi. Nah satu hal yang penting jangan lupakan zakat, infaq dan sedekah agar semuanya menjadi berkah. Eh, enaknya aku copasin catetanku kemarin ya. Ini tips ngatur keuangan ala Emak Liswanti.

Yang aku suka di tabel kanan, kolom investasi lebih tinggi dibanding lainnya. Dan satu hal yang aku setuju banget, ilangkan kolom cicilan berapapun itu. Utang hanya untuk kondisi darurat yang emang lebih baik hindari. Betul, saya ini tipe orang yang paling takut sama cicilan. Saya mah kalo nggak penting-penting amat ya nggak beli. Ada uang beli, nggak ada ya tunda dulu. Hidup lebih tenang, tidur lebih nyenyak. Biar kemana-mana pake hengpong jadul yo pede wae, walaupun kakang mbakyu SPG pake jurus promosi tingkat dewa woles aja. Hehe..
Udahan ya. Saya tak nyembunyiin laptop dulu. Takut ketahuan bos kecil. Ssst!
